Our Land, Our Legacy
This land has held the footsteps, hands, and harvests of nine generations. From the earliest stewards to today’s visionaries, our family has honored the soil through tradition, adaptation, and purpose.
What began as a quiet lineage of farmers has grown into a vibrant ecosystem of collaboration. Today, we open our gates to neighbors, growers, educators, and those who share a passion for land-based living and collective prosperity.
We are rooted in South Carolina and committed to making this land a place where community and culture continue to thrive.
Current Projects and
Partnerships:
Agricultural Leasing
We lease portions of our fields to local farmers who cultivate cotton, corn, and soybeans, preserving the land’s productivity while supporting independent growers.
The Hunting Club
Our wooded areas are home to abundant wildlife. Through ethical land use, we’ve opened these spaces to local hunters for seasonal hunting and conservation activities.
Family Farmstead
A reserved portion of the land remains in the hands of our family, where we tend to pecan orchards, muscadine grapevines, and bamboo groves, crops rich in tradition and cultural meaning.
Countryside Living
We offer rental homes for those who seek peace, natural beauty, and a slower rhythm of life in the countryside.
Early Childhood & Garden Literacy
Our childcare center served as a pioneering space where young minds were introduced to gardening, seasonal cycles, and sensory education. Its legacy continues to shape our approach to education and community care.
Migrant Family Support
In partnership with local advocates, we provide safe housing and childcare resources for migrant agricultural workers and their families—ensuring dignity and stability for those who help feed the region.
My Mother’s Garden
At the heart of it all is my mother’s garden—a living testament to color, nourishment, and quiet joy. Here you’ll find flowering plants, vegetables, and fruit thriving side by side, tended with love and generational wisdom.
We are close to Lake Marion. Swamps and streams are a large part of the scenery here.
